The Mobile Trauma Unit (MTU) provides highly-specialized trauma and surgical capabilities for the field environment. The MTU provides tactical medical training to local and federal law enforcement agencies on a regular basis.

The MTU has provided advanced surgical capabilities in the field for high-risk missions for federal agencies such as the United States Secret Service, Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service, and the United Nations Security Service.
